Executive Dashboards
Show leadership whether delivery is actually improving.
Track cycle time, throughput, WIP, flow efficiency and predictability across teams and services, compare performance over time, and bring the evidence into your next executive review.

Leadership questions
Answer the questions leadership asks.
Are we improving?
Compare cycle time, throughput, WIP, WIP age and flow efficiency over time.
Where does leadership need to pay attention?
Surface meaningful changes and exceptions across services and teams.
Are we delivering what the strategy requires?
Break delivery down by work type to see where capacity is actually going.
Performance over time
See performance change over time.
Follow each team’s performance over time against its own history, without turning the view into a ranking. Each line shows how performance changed over the selected period.

Exceptions
Find the exceptions.
See which teams changed beyond your variation threshold and which remained stable. Red and green mark changes from earlier one-, three-, or six-month periods; a gray “=” marks stability.

Strategic alignment
See where delivery capacity is going.
Compare the work being completed with the priorities leadership has set. A throughput breakdown by work item type makes the delivery mix visible.
- StrategyEnter a new market
- ExpectedMore capacity going toward new product capabilities
- Actual delivery

Stories and User Stories total 56%, while Bugs and Tasks total 44%. Does that put enough capacity toward new product capabilities?
Drill down
Start with the exception. Go deeper when needed.
Investigate whether an exception is a real signal and what is driving it. Move from the Executive Report to the team dashboard, Process Improvement, and AI Investigator, then return for later periods.
- Leadership seesPayments API cycle time increased 42%.
- Delivery leader opens the teamProcess Improvement shows whether it’s a meaningful signal.
- InvestigatorShows what’s driving it.
- Team makes a targeted change
- Executive DashboardShows what happened in the following periods.
Executive review
Prepare the next review from the same view.
Save the view you’ve been using, export the same dashboard as PDF or CSV, and bring the evidence into the executive review.

“We introduced KPIs, and I create quarterly snapshots of our metrics. The Executive Dashboard helps a lot with that.”

Questions about executive dashboards
Each value stream or portfolio shows cycle time and throughput by a field you choose, cycle time percentiles, and trends for WIP, throughput, WIP age, cycle time, percentiles and flow efficiency. You can filter the underlying team dashboards and switch trends to a teams view.
The Value Stream Report compares each team’s current period with earlier periods and shows the percentage change for cycle time at a chosen percentile, average throughput, average WIP, average WIP age and flow efficiency. Group periods by week, two weeks, month or quarter.
You set the variation threshold. Red and green indicators mark results that changed beyond that threshold, while a gray equals sign marks stable results. This keeps routine variation from carrying the same weight as a larger change.
No. A lower cycle time is not, by itself, evidence that one team is better. Teams may handle different kinds of work. Use the comparison to find a change in a team’s own performance, then inspect that team’s dashboard.
Export a PDF for presentation or a CSV for further analysis. You can also save a value stream view with its controls and filters, then apply the same view again when preparing the next review.
Access is set per user. A user can have full access to all value streams, view-only access to all, or access only to specific value streams. The same options apply to portfolios.
Yes. Nave has one price, with no plans or add-ons. Every board includes every feature and unlimited users, including Portfolio Dashboards, team charts, Process Improvement and the AI Investigator.
