Integrations

Connect Nave to the tools you already use.

Bring your delivery data into Nave without changing how your teams work.

Don’t see the tool your teams use?

You can still bring delivery data into Nave using CSV/JSON or automate the import through the Nave API. If you’re evaluating Nave for another system, talk to us about your setup.

Your options

Choose how your data gets into Nave

Your delivery system

Choose one route

  1. Direct integration

Connect Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello or Asana directly to Nave. Nave synchronizes your delivery data automatically and keeps your dashboards up to date.

  2. Upload your data

Export delivery data from another system and bring it into Nave using CSV or JSON.

You stay in full control. Nave works with just item IDs and timestamps, so you choose exactly what to share. See the open-source uploader a Nave customer built to anonymize Jira data before it’s uploaded.

  3. Automate data imports

For systems Nave cannot connect to directly, use the Nave API to automate your data uploads.

Direct integrations

How direct integrations work

  1. You → Your tool 1 Sign in with your tool’s login Nave never has access to your password.
  2. You → Your tool 2 Authorize access The authorization page shows what Nave may access, and you decide whether to allow it. Nave works with your own access, so it sees only what your account can see. It never creates, changes or deletes your work items, comments, boards or projects.
  3. Your tool → Nave 3 Your tool sends Nave an authorization token It confirms you signed in and lets Nave sync the data you authorized.
  4. Nave ⇠ Your tool 4 Nave syncs your boards It syncs the details your charts need, such as IDs, titles, dates and status history.

What Nave keeps

Board
The board you connect: its ID, name and columns
Issues
Key, summary, priority, created date, due date and a link to the issue
Status history
Every status change, with its date
Flagged
When an issue was flagged or blocked, and for how long
Assignee
Display name and avatar, unless you hide person-related fields
Custom fields
Only the fields you select for the dashboard, and their changes
Your account
Display name and email address, to sign you in

Nave works with your own access in the tool, so it only reads what your account can see. Our Privacy Policy, section 6a, covers every tool.

Keep people and task names out of the data. On Jira and File dashboards, you can hide all person-related fields, including assignees, reporters and custom user fields. Contact us to enable it. When you create a dashboard, you can also choose not to store task names. Once that’s on, no user in your account can change it.
